• 18+ only. By playing you confirm you are 18 or over. We may ask you to verify your age and identity at any time.
• Entry to every game requires correctly answering a skill question. These are skill-based games of the kind permitted under UK law; the skill element is a genuine condition of entry.
• Every result is decided server-side. The browser only animates the outcome it is sent — it cannot influence the result, the odds, or any payout.
• Your stake is spent when you play and is non-refundable once a game has been played. Choosing a stake and confirming play is final.
• Winnings are credited to your cash balance or your site-credit balance, as stated for the game you played. Where a game refunds an entry (for example a draw), the entry is returned to the balance it was taken from.

You must be 18 or over and a resident of a territory where participation is lawful. The promoter may restrict, suspend, or close accounts and withhold winnings where eligibility cannot be verified or where terms are breached. One account per person. By creating an account and again each time you check out, you confirm that you comply with these eligibility requirements and are eligible to enter on our website.

Each game follows the same flow: Start → pick your stake → answer a skill question → play. You can only proceed once the skill question is answered correctly.

Outcomes are determined on our servers. The on-screen animation is a visual representation of an outcome that has already been decided; it does not change the result. No client-side action can alter odds, results, or payouts.

Stakes

• Stakes are taken from your wallet when you confirm a play and are non-refundable once the game has been played.
• Where a specific game refunds an entry (for example, a drawn match), the entry is returned to the balance it came from.

Winnings — what is credited where

• Instant-win game winnings are credited to your withdrawable cash balance or your site-credit balance, as stated for the game or prize you played.
• Main competition draw wins are NOT credited to your account. Winners are contacted directly by the promoter and the prize is paid or handed over directly (for example by bank transfer for cash prizes, or arranged delivery/collection for physical prizes).

Refund policy

• We do not offer a refund for any competitions entered via the website.
• We do not offer refunds against ANY instant-win competitions.
• These rules exist because entries are allocated to a live draw the moment they are confirmed — a refunded entry would alter the odds for every other entrant, and results/prizes may already have been determined.
• The promoter may void entries or withhold a refund or prize where there is evidence of fraud, use of stolen or unauthorised payment details, entry by a person under 18, multiple/duplicate accounts, or any other breach of these terms.

Claiming a prize

• Main competition draw prizes must be claimed within 90 days of the draw.
• Instant-win prizes must be claimed within 30 days by replying to claim on your instant-win email.
• Prizes unclaimed after these windows are forfeited.

The promoter reserves the right to void plays and correct balances in the event of a technical fault, error, or evidence of abuse.

• Details listed of “the prize” are to the best of the promoter’s knowledge.
• The promoter holds no responsibility for any issues upon acceptance of the prize. Once the winning prize is accepted / handed over, you the winner are solely responsible and must be compliant with governing laws.
• The promoter holds no liability for any injury to said persons upon acceptance / hand-over of a winning prize.
• The promoter gives no warranty with any prize unless stated otherwise.

Any funds you add to your account (top-ups) are credited as site credit. Site credit is a play balance that is non-withdrawable and may only be used to enter competitions and play games on Nitrous Competitions — it cannot be transferred or paid back out. Only prize winnings credited to your withdrawable cash balance can be withdrawn.

Site credit has no monetary value and is not withdrawable. If site credit is not used within 60 days it will expire and reset to £0.

Nitrous Competitions reserves the right to remove credit, void plays, and adjust or close accounts where any misuse, fraud, or abuse is found.

Where competitions, prize draws, or instant-win prizes are offered, the specific rules, entry requirements, closing dates, and prize details for that competition apply in addition to these terms. Prizes are non-transferable and may not be exchanged for cash unless stated. Winners may be required to verify their identity and age before a prize is awarded.

The following rules apply to all Nitrous Competitions memberships, in addition to the rest of these terms:

• One membership per person.No account or individual may hold or run two memberships at the same time in the same person's name and address.
• Photographic ID is required. The full name and address on your account must exactly match the name and address shown on your ID.
• No membership benefit or prize can be claimed if the name or address does not match the ID provided. Any claim with an incorrect name or address will be rejected.
• Changing your name after you have won a prize will make that claim void.
• Anyone found abusing the membership system will have their account suspended indefinitely.

A free postal route is available for every Nitrous competition. Free postal entries go into exactly the same draw, on equal terms, as paid entries.

Free Postal Route

1. All entries should be mailed to Nitrous Competitions, 12 The Close, Barwell, LE9 8AS.
2. Submission requirements:
   • Entries must be submitted on a postcard using either 1st or 2nd class postage.
   • Specify the competition you are entering, along with the corresponding question and your answer.
   • Only one entry per postcard is permitted; bulk submissions are not accepted.
3. Important deadlines and notifications:
   • Please be aware that we do not provide notification regarding the correctness of your answer.

For every competition, the method used to select the winning ticket number(s) is fixed before the competition goes liveand cannot be changed afterwards. One of two methods applies, and the method in use is shown on the competition’s page:

• Random Number Generator (RNG) — the winning number(s) are selected by a random number generator. Where instant-win prizes are offered, their winning numbers are allocated at random when the competition is created.
• Published entry list — after a competition closes we publish the complete entry list (every ticket number and entrant). The winning number(s) are drawn at random from the confirmed entries, and anyone can check the result against the published list to verify it.

Whichever method applies, the outcome is determined on our servers and cannot be influenced by any entrant or by anything in your browser.

You can request a withdrawal of available cash funds from your account, subject to identity and age verification and any minimum withdrawal amount. Withdrawals are paid to a verified payment method in your name. Site credit and bonus balances are not withdrawable unless stated. We may delay or decline a withdrawal where verification is incomplete or where we reasonably suspect fraud or breach of these terms.

We aim to resolve every concern quickly and fairly. To raise a complaint, message us through your account or email support@nitrouscompetitions.com with your name, order/competition reference and a description of the issue. We will acknowledge your complaint within 3 working days and aim to provide a full response within 14 days. If you are not satisfied with our final response, you may refer the matter to your local Trading Standards / Citizens Advice consumer service.

• The promoter is Nitrous Competitions, registered in England & Wales, Company No. 11316541, registered office Unit A, 82 James Carter Road, Mildenhall, Bury St. Edmunds, IP28 7DE. Wherever these terms say “we”, “us” or “our”, it means the promoter.
• The promoter has the right to amend these terms & conditions at any time. We may do so where required by law or a regulator, to prevent fraud or abuse, to correct errors, to reflect changes to our games and competitions, or for other genuine operational reasons.
• The version published on this page is the current version and applies from the moment it is published. Entries already placed are honoured under the terms in force when they were placed.
